USCIS announces that the H-1B cap was reached as of petitions submitted by May 26, 2006. Petitions received after that date will be returned. Petitions received on that date will be subject to a random selection process. [ more ]

USCIS Posts Updated FY07 H-1B US Advanced Degree Cap Usage Figures - 06/07/06
USCIS has updated its website with revised figures for H-1B advanced degree usage for FY 2007. As of 6/2/06, 6,599 visa petitions have been granted or are pending. This figure does not account for cases received at VSC after 6/2/06 which have not been entered into the computer. [ more ]
