[Previous entry: "Dallas District to Launch Adjustment of Status Filing Pilot Program"] [Main Index] [Next entry: "USCIS proposing Increased Validity Period for EADs"] 03/25/2004 Entry: "US District Courts Finalize CSS and LULAC (Newman) Legalization Cases" The United States District Court for the Central District of California approved a final settlement agreement in the CSS and LULAC (Newman) legalization case. In general, the settlement agreement provides a final one-year application period for eligible individuals to file simultaneous applications for class membership and application for legalization on Form I-687. Applications are provided for those who were living in the U.S. in an unlawful status prior to 1982, were eligible for the 1986 legalization program, but who did not apply for certain specified reasons. The application period runs from 5/24/04 to 5/23/05.
