[Previous entry: "INS SAYS PALESTINIANS BEING REMOVED TO "PALESTINE""] [Main Index] [Next entry: "US District Courts Finalize CSS and LULAC (Newman) Legalization Cases"] 03/25/2004 Entry: "Dallas District to Launch Adjustment of Status Filing Pilot Program" The Dallas District of USCIS will launch, on May 3, 2004, a pilot project whereby adjustment of status applications can be filed with an immediate interview and adjudication planned to be completed within 90 days. The appointment system that will underlie this project is expected to be implemented approximately April 13, 2004. The focus of the program appears to be family based adjustment of status. It expressly excludes Asylees, Refugees, Life Act and employment based cases.
