10/16/2003 Entry: "District Office Filings are Being Sent to the National Benefits Center"

The United States Ccitizenhip and Immigration Services (USCIS) office has started a new program by which all new family-based petitions i.e. I-130 's and applications i.e. I-485 that are filed at certain local offices will be forwarded to the National Benefits Center formerly the Missouri Service Center for intake, initial processing, and issuance of EADs and advance paroles.


This program is currently being implemented by the following District Offices: Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Harlingen, Honolulu, Houston, Miami, New York, Phoenix, and St. Paul. All sub-offices and satellite offices of these ten District Offices are included in the program.
